BAD COMPANY'S MUSICAL CAREER

Bad Company and Joe Walsh are embarking on a mammoth 25 date tour which is beginning on May 12 in Dallas, ending 3 July, 2016 in Nashville. They have wanted to do a collaboration for a while and it has taken 30 years for it to finally happen. The tour has been named as 'One Hell of a Night' and will feature some of Walsh's music from his 2012 album 'Analog Man'.

Joe Walsh is an American singer and songwriter. Born November 20 1974 in Kansas. His father was killed in a plane crash when he was five years old and his mother moved the family to New York when he was 12. This is where his music career started. He began to play in a local band called 'The Nomads' and he dropped out of university just after a term to pursue his musical career where he spent time playing with local bands The Measles, James Gang and Barnstorm. Joe Walsh has been married five times and it is well documented that he had drug and alcohol addictions for most of his musical career but has been clean since 1993. Joe had two children, girls Lucy and Emma. Emma tragically died in a car accident, Joe wrote a song in memory of her on his album So What entitled 'Song for Emma'. He has won five Grammy awards for his work with the Eagles which included Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group and Record of the Year. He was invited in 1975 to join the Eagles, the fifth album Hotel California was the first to feature with Joe officially joining them. Joe had a successful solo career between 1973 - 2013 with his first album being released in 1974 called Barnstorm. The last one being All Night Long: Live in Dallas. He had a few years break from his career to be with the Eagles and when they broke up in 1980, Joe concentrated on his solo career but he did not have the same success as he had with some of his earlier work. The Eagles reformed in 1994 and Joe was part of the band right up until they released a documentary 'History of the Eagles' which also had an 11 date arena tour which ran alongside the documentary.
